How to check if Japanese Plums have been pollinated and survived late frosts and freezes

This is a simple way to test if your plums have been pollinated and survived late frosts and or freezes! :)

Successfully pollinated, healthy blossoms will have a darker green stem color, usually be more firm, and should hold on to the tree when you gently tap or nudge them.

Lots of pollinated healthy baby plums!

It is best to wait a few after a frost or freeze to check.

Wishing you lots of future plums! :)
